WOW!1!!

Open game is open...

Both teams looking to win, I think Nigeria have summed up their tournament equity pretty well in that a win would mean that a draw is good enough vs South Korea, whereas drawing this game and losing by 1 are effectively the same thing... As such, until they concede a goal, they are pretty much freerolling in terms of scoring...

I feel sorry for the Nigerians, but the sending off has turned this into easily one of the most entertaining games of the cup.

wouldnt be surprised to the see the Greeks sit back and invite some pressure now, lets hope it doesn't go back to snoozefest

This is fantastic news for South Korea. They just need a draw against Nigeria and they're though.

There's no way Greece are going to get anything from Argentina.

nigerian dude and greek dude has a bit of a handbags fight after the ball went out for a throw in, and the Nigerian dude decided to step it up a bit and stick his studs in to the greek dudes thigh.

Was soft but incredibly stupid

Greece have got to be the ugliest team in the world cup. All their players look revolting, especially that Samaras.

Korea look a superior side and should win.

Don't know about that. Nigeria took it up to Argentina, especially in that second half, South Korea really never had a look in. Nigeria were up 1 - 0 tonight and were looking alright up until Kaita dug his own grave. I'd be backing Nigeria from here TBH.

Nigeria make terrible decisions in the final 1/3.

They didn't look any worse than Korea against Argentina.

Perhaps were more threatening in attack over the 90 without making the right decisions when faced with a final/pivotal decision.

They could beat Korea. Quite easily.

I'm not saying they will but there's three results to that game - all with a similar probability of occuring.

Korea advance with two of those probabilities (assuming Greece lose) so you'd like them but Nigeria aren't in a bad position. The only bad thing is relying on another team to get a result for you but Greece look shit - against Korea and 11 v 11 against Nigeria they were inferior, down by a goal and certainly didn't look like scoring. They're not really a good side.
