You wouldn't think so, but you also would've thought that Spain would account for the Swiss pretty easily and Brazil would win in a canter against North Korea, likewise England v Algeria etc.

WC games can be pretty unpredictable, it's a credit to NZ that they've held on this long

The people on this board make a bigger song and dance over it when it is the Italians when there are many other nations equally as bad and worse that don't cop the last 4-5 pages worth of ranting and racial slurs. Obviously still hurts 4 years on for many on here.

Italy have been playing some really good football (as expected) when they're not exaggerating the point

I'm still more disgusted by the way that Italian went down to a tap by Zidane's head than Totti's dive.

Other teams may dive as you say, but Italian players have always come across as gutless pricks to me.

I actually don't think Italy have been playing that good a football. Which is why they are still only drawing with NZ (as I type).

And why they are trying every dirty trick in their book to get a result.
