Just been for a walk along Chapel St. Since when did dressing head to toe in exercise gear overtake jeans and black/white t-shirts as the official Prahran/South Yarra poseur uniform?

I should launch Goth Activewear (trademark pending) and become a millionaire. But I can't design, can't sew and I'm not very creative.

Surely that isn't a complaint?
Most of them looked like they'd never seen the inside of a gym. One particular bloke who would've been in his 50s, sporting a huge gut, t-shirt and running tights will forever be seared in my consciousness. The horror, the horror.

Ah yeah, forgot about that side...

There's also a decent side to the fitness wear though ;)

Spandex and Lycra smoothes over any orange peel look in the butt and legs so it can be a good thing. But I saw one plump bird walking in bicycle shorts, and from the rear it looked like two possums fighting their way out of a sugar sack.

I wonder if cycling [emoji468] "posses" are like motorcycle clubs no one accused them of organised crime. I'd almost write a TV show, Sons of Lycra.

Just saw a story on the news about the removal of some trees in order to build the new Beaumaris Secondary College. A local protester was quoted as saying "These are the lungs of Beaumaris". This is arguably bayside Melbourne's greenest suburb with numerous golf courses, sports ovals, parks and foreshore.

Obviously pennant golf and and tennis are finished for the year so the good citizens of Beauie must've thought slumming it as NIMBYs would be good for a lark.

They can GAGF.

Just to follow up on a previous post.

I was cutting my own hair the other day with the clippers, nothing unusual as I now run with the number 0 all over, and I slipped and shaved off half an eyebrow. Some may call that Karma.

It just made me grumpy

I saw that and thought in a similar fashion. Madam Nimby, who was screaming as if a baby was about to be run over by a bulldozer, must feel extremely fortunate to have settled in a suburb where the natural flora left tracts of treeless land upon which to play golf. What a bloody plonker!
