Think I've told this story in more detail before, but years ago we convinced this really smug whiney English backpacker at our work who was complaining about Luna Park that Wobbies World was the gold standard of Australian theme parks.
He went out there one Saturday and didn't speak to anyone at work for a week.

Nah and to cap it off got chased by angry adult swan who chases anyone with a dog protecting their babies. He charges with wings flapping and has actually beaten an old lady who is not quick enough.

i worked that day and still remember vividly listning to the radio call driving home from work, the radio commentry wasnt very flattering to kingy either.

I told these guys I used to work with once about Wobbies World. They were in fits of laughter and it became a standard thing on that worksite to refer to poxy shit things as Wobbies World for ever after.
