I want to like this game, I really do. But ever since I stopped playing WoW (and swore I'd never go back. 4 years clean now!) I've been looking for a game that has a similar sense of community as it did... and I've never found it. Maybe it's cause I picked the wrong server, but it feels like I'm running around by myself. Empty towns, empty cities, empty chat rooms. Maybe I lucked out with a good guild on WoW and thats all it comes down to.

Guess I'll give a new character a whirl on a different server. I can do that right?

Yeah thought that might sound strange to some but to me it did. As I said I may have lucked out with a good guild. I'm a fan of enjoying games like these without taking them too seriously and obsessing over the latest new epic piece of armor... and I was able to find like minded people.

Hey me too. I tried to add you but didn't find anything. I'm Whitturne.8419 for anyone interested.

I'm now level 18 Human Elementalist. Enjoying it alot more. Joined a guild but everyone seems to be going their own way. My "hellos" when I log in are met by silence So I'm still working on that side of it but I'm really enjoying the game itself. I understand the professions alot better now, the trading post and my character in general.

Ah, they bought it for the gold I guess. Not sure what the conversion rate is these days though.

Thread revival!

I play guildwars 2 in a very active guild. The guild is a mix of AU/NA players and we are on at all times.

We run daily raids, fractals, dungeons and a lot of guild bounties.

We are heavily focused on fights in WVW and would prefer players use teamspeak when raiding!
