Yes, driven crazy by Thompson, and set on by half the Roos team, pack of dirty thugs. Barry got him in a wonderful headlock , Thompson wasn't so "brave" after that. However, Baz was reported as well as Thompson. There was a bit of a melee as well.

Yes Hall was reported for wrestling, which the other guy Thompson deserved. Thompson also got reported and he was relentless in his cheap tactics towards Hall. Most of the time it seemed there was an umpire in view but ofcourse, Thompson was allowed to get away with it until Hall finally snapped. Hall grabbed him by the throat and took a swinging punch but it missed.

Picken was on the ground after a tackle and the knee in the head was as McMahon was walking past. He 'paused' to kind of kneel on Picken's head with one knee. Didn't look very hard.

Saw nothing but fresh air. Given the amount of "jumper punches" that get ignored, an attempted strike would be stiff to get weeks these days.

Umpires did not perform their duty today and as a result we saw these incidents escalate. I'll be disappointed if Basil gets suspended, he showed terrific restraint, regardless of his history I felt he showed some real character today. He is a genuinely tough hombre, dishes it out but takes it all in his stride as well.

you couldnt have said this any better. I have never seen so many snipers on a field at once. Rawlings, Thompson, Firrito, Pratt, Grima, do I need to keep going. Exactly right. They can take that former Brisbane Lion thug, who is now their coach with them.
He was the one who instigated the playing the man tactics used by North all day. There were late bumps and scragging throughout the last quarter especially and they deserved their thrashing.
Scott started playing the man even before the game began, with his pathetic attack on Aker.

That laughable effort by Thomson to rough up Hall was cringeworthy, and then a bunch of them gang charging him as he was trying to leave the field was appalling. How the hell the umpires deemed us to be in the wrong and gift them their little charity first goal is beyond me. Probably felt sorry for them after I guess.

If Hall gets anything for what happened today its a joke. I'm hoping the only problems the match review panel has is trying to suppress giggles looking at North's laughable tough man tactics today.

Can't help but notice some North fans talking up the fight and someone mentioning how rapt they were too see their players take it up to Barry. It takes little courage to bump a man when he's doing his laces, and it takes little courage to antagonise a guy who if he hits back would end up in massive trouble. It also takes little courage to do what Firrito did and consistently bump players after they kicked it. Not really a problem, as they were probably all fair, but its not stuff that wins you games, and its not tough.

For all of North's so called "fight" we murdered them in close and won the hard footy. Cooney was amazing in close, on another level. Cross was throwing his body into hairy situations time and time again with little regard for himself. Boydy was the normal Boydy. Gia got hurt with Addison early and then got cleaned up, almost knocked out and kept fighting. With the stuff that required actual toughness and actually mattered we embarrassed them. Even Josh Hill whos' not the hardest player ever kicked a goal on Pratt, because Pratt who is apparently a tough player went to ground, while Hill kept his feet.

All the talk this week will be about Barry which is sad, because the talk should be about how good we were dismantling North and how awful we made them look.
