now this is very strange. To be honest i wouldnt mind seeing him play. I actually rated Corrie at Brisbane and when he was traded to Collingwood i was quite surprised, i am also surprised that everyone hates him already.

We don't hate him, it's just that, well, we don't have faith in his footballing abilities at the senior level.

Agreed. But, I also believe he doesnt deserve a call up from the twos after his performances so far. But I agree atleast give him a chance to prove himself - if he is crap then we can take comfort in that it wasn't an Egan like scenario where he was a pick 10. Corrie got traded for like 90 or 100 and something pick.

I too rated him at Brisbane, and it was a huge surprise when he was traded, I think we should give him a game or two to see how he goes.

We got him for nothing because the Lions didn't want him. That should tell us something - if an ordinary side like that doesn't want him he must have given them reason.
So far in his seconds outings, he's been a selfish little cheap posession getter and nothing else. OK, if he's racked up the numbers he has and played a team game he'd be worth the run. He hasn't, and what sort of message does that send the others? PLay selfish, get good stats and you'll be picked. And even the seniors - they'd know what he's done and how he goes about it. It's not a good example for the whole playing group. It smacks of Madhouse's desperate desire to vindicate his crap decisions, no matter what the effect on the club. And it's typical MM to bring him in (if he does, and I think he will) for a relatively "soft" game.

That's a little hard on Corrie. What you are suggesting is that he racks up cheap possessions which mean little, and on that basis Mick brings him into the side so that he can, what, deplete our side with meaningless possessions??
It doesn't make sense. Why would Malthouse under extreme coaching pressure want to bring in a dud who racks up selfish possessions which hurts the side? Woulkdn't that injure Mick, rather than help him? I'm sure Mick has bigger things on his mind than trying to advance Corrie's career. What value could such a selection deliver to him?
The more I hear of VFL reports on this site, the more suspect I am of them.

Yeah I think Rocca will be out and Wellingham or Corrie will be in.
I think MM could play Corrie and yes he is the most selfish player I have seen. He does know how to play the game of stat collecting.
His disposal in the VFL is also terrible. Well obviously that is how you get a game in the Seniors. Gain heaps of stats cheapies and have bad disposal.
That way you are a monty to get picked......
This game should be a walk over and on Saturday everyone will be jumping on the band wagon again..
But next week we have St. Kilda and the Blues and they will not be pretty.
We can't afford these type of players giving away the ball continually.
