I reckon it was probably a little bit of both...the game was very open and high scoring.

Either way, one quarter on a FF isn't perhaps enough to gauage Ryder's performance.

Yeah and Buddy also tore much more seasoned and better defenders than Ryder a new one in '08.

BTW...Our team left Ryder hang to dry in that match, pretty much left him out 1v1 and you just don't do that against Franklin, especially if you're a budding defender, let alone a seasoned one.

I'd love to see Ryder have a crack at Franklin in a better defensively structured team.

I'd love to see Ryder on Franklin again too.

So do we, hopefully he learned a lesson last time and took notes on any weakness Buddy has. He is bigger this year so shouldn't get thrown around as much as previous years, still has a lot to learn but will be good to see how he goes as he is a rare type that can match Buddy athletically, if he can now match his strength we could be in for some classic battles.
