42-17 at half time, and the way we're going I wouldn't be surprised if we struggle to get to 42 for the game. Well probably get a few in junk time.

Look, this is actually a much better performance than last week. You can't fault the endeavour shown out there, but the skills are deplorable. To pick on a couple:

Scotty Thornton - where is the evidence you can play at all?

Matt Carr - you've got to be kidding me.

On the other hand, Palmer is carving it up, and Hinkley has done a couple of nice things already. Good on Harvey for picking a young team (M. Carr excepted). We may get flogged today but at least we're turning over the list now.

I don't write us off yet, we've shown a hell of a lot more fight in the second 1/4 than the first. The medical team are probably sewing up the boys as Harvey is tearing new holes into them. Some of the players are probably like a swiss cheese by now.

3/4 lets carry on the fight, can't see the Crows able to keep up if we start sorting our crap out.

Some of this stuff is very encouraging. Hinkley looks like he can play. Still not convinced by Ibbotson, seems to have not much awareness and struggles with the pace of the game at this level. Palmer is a gun! What a little star
Thornton is very good at the run and carry but still hasn't picked up the pace this year. Needs more WAFL time. Would love to see a fully fit Black in for him. Both Carrs are useless at the mo. Would think J still has some upside but hasn't shown much this season. M is finished. Skills deplorable. Drum never puts a foot wrong. Why he's not a walk up start is beyond me. Easily best 22.
Mayne Headland Black into this team and we're not far off it. Don't think we'll win but shouldn't get disgraced (hopefully).

Goddamn umpires have cost us the game here.

That one with Burton standing on Dodd's head was a disgrace. Likewise the 'mark' right at the end of the game.

MUCH better effort from Freo today. I am proud to support this team after today, even though we are 1-4 now.
