Haselby vs Buckley?

After putting his hand up to play on one Brownlow medalist and coming away with the 3 Brownlow votes do you think CC will forget about tagging Buckley and let Haze go head to head with him?

Yep, make Buckley a little more accountable - cause if he doesn't watch Hase he'll carve em up.

I like the idea of Haselby on Buckley but I don't think we'll do well with it as Hase is often one of our leading possession getters. I'd say Cook on him, possibly Carr.

You don't consider that was a good tagging job do you? He had a great game, no doubt. But Riccuito got just as much of the ball as Haselby did. He was let down a bit by the kicking for goal of the forwards a bit imo.

Buckley pulled his hamstring and hes unlikely to play even though hes named in the team.

hase isn't a tagger - he put his hand up to go one on one, and IMO won the battle on points. Bother were best for their teams, but hase was that bit better.

So the answer to your question is no.

On another note, I was surprised to see how well he competed (and won several times) the one on one marking contests with Ruccuito. I thought he would've been too strong, but Haselby was excellent in this regard. Surprised me a bit.

Anyway, Carr for Buckley for starters. If he plays.

The point I was trying to make was that he actually asked to play on the Roo.
It was such a success (Ruccuito usually kills us ah la Bucks) that I thought it was worth another go.

Haze is a very complete Footballer and is still improving.
