yeh we had some fat bitch supporter booing hase while he was down too.. poor form.

hope he is ok, Hopefully he'll be back by round 4 to start racking up those brownlow votes!
 
Likewise, hope its not too bad.

Haselby has always been a great ball winner for the Dockers, rarely plays the man or gets caught up in the mucho bullsh!t.

Good luck, hope to see him back the week AFTER the next derby.
 
the general rule with a knee injury is pain is good, not much paing is bad, with my knee it hurt initially but mostly wasnt to painful.
It turned out i had a cracked bone, 3 ligaments torn and cartlige snapped in half. dont want to be a downer here people but didnt look good to me with my past experiance lets hope im wrong + he gets back soon :(

Providing it isn't an ACL he would probably be back by around round 3. There's six weeks until the season proper but you'd be worried about his match fitness. He would probably need a couple of runs in the WAFL perhaps. Let's hope that's all it is, and we can see Hase running around in purple in round 3.

Bloody oath, most were tolerable, but down my end (moved down the two tier stand end at half time) there were a few booing. I was like "STFU ya idiots..."

But I had to be careful coz I noticed a few Freo supporters getting ejected down there when I first got there.
 
There would be doctors at the game on standby to assess players. last night they indicated it was a medial ligament and today an ACL. For those who don't know its a very simple bedside examination which checks whether the ACL is intact.

The only definite way to find out is a scan.

bad luck fellas

I dont mind Hase - Always plays well and always seem to play well against us.

Have to feel sorry for him after practically sacrificing his off season to continue training so he was ready for this season and from what i had heard he was burning it up on the track and was set for a huge season.

True on your last point, one of my favourite players regardless of jumper. Even though he has saved some of his best for us, he is just a good, fair and honest player who I would guess isn't disliked by many opposition supporters.

The crowd around where I was seated went silent when he first went down, and clapped him off when they finally got to him. No garbage comments at all within earshot where I was. always will be some peanuts though.

Tellingly (and embarrasingly really as it perhaps shows the perception of Eagles supporters as a group) the guy in front of my wife and I turned around and commented on the fact we were all clapping (just happened that most of the row I was in were Eagles fans). He seemed most surprised.
 
pretty bad news all round for fremantle and football supporters. haselby's one of the dockers i dont mind, this is going to leave a dent in fremantle's midfield. he's usually a player you can rely on to get at least 20 touches a game.
