Yeah he is entitled to another years pay from Richmond, which comes under our salary cap for year 2008. That doesn't stop him from going to another club. Rodan still had another year with Richmond when he was delisted if I recall correctly.

Peterson did/does have a year to run on his contract, which Richmond will have to pay out, unless he gets picked up by us again through the rookie draft or another team, in which they will pay his contract.

I know everyone's saying that Peterson has been delisted but I'm not entirely sure. When the club released it's list of delisted players he wasn't on it. I just checked the clubs' website and he is still listed, whereas the other delisted players have been removed.
