Rumours on the Hawthorn board are that JOM had a good showing in an intra-club today scoring 3 off the wing.....hopefully he was wearing a no contact vest...

I'd be content with a top15. Anything else would be a bonus. Free agents could play apart pushing that pick back potentially too.

You raise an interesting point. What do we regard as a good result, what do we think is a great result and what would provoke nudie runs down Acland St?

Context: We got Hawks' 2017 1st (?), 23 and 36 for 10 and 68.

Yeah, match simulation and intra-clubs are a long way off VFL or AFL footy. It's a step in the right direction for him, but I'm pretty sure JOM played NEAFL before his last big set back.

I think it's a good result regardless of where they finish, I'd take 18, 23 and 36 over 10 and an unused 68 every day of the week- and this draft coming up has some serious midfield and KPF talent, if we do retain a first round presence we could get a gun mid well below where he would go in many other drafts.

If Hawks win 2017 flag, Saints win trade by 848 points (equivalent of pick 22 for free).

If Hawks finish fifth in 2017, as they did this year, Saints win trade by 1024 points (equivalent of pick 17).

If Hawks get 2017 wooden spoon, Saints win trade by 2863 points (equivalent of pick 1-2).
