This is just going to get messier and messier. The AFL were never going to do anything about it and that’s fair enough. Hopefully this all gets sorted out without the Hawks having to be dragged through the courts, someone will end up in jail if it goes through the court system.
You been watching too much of the project if you think anyone is going to prison.

HRC powers at best will allow them to hit someone with a wet lettuce.

Cool.
Sounds legit From the Australian Fence sitting League.

Remember the Dee's got punished for 'not tanking'...

This is the expected outcome that many Aboriginal people expected from a body like the AFL. It has happened for 200 years where bodies controlled by power and greed have swept Aboriginal issues under the table. Today we are fortunate, that bodies such as the Human Rights Commission are there to ensure justice. What the AFL don't realise is that the media storm that will erupt as a result of the HRC will bring more heat on their brand than if they had dealt with it in the first place. Human Rights can make some powerful statements. These lawyers would not be advising full steam ahead to HRC without believing they will be successful.
Yep. If "human right's abuse" is about as ugly a phrase as there is.

The only ones who are looking at the colour of skin are the ones doing the accusing. Three good men have been accused of horrible things and the accusers have still not been named, it seems to be a case of "victim mentality" of these accusers.

If you want to accuse people in a public space then you should have the courage of your convictions and not throw accusations from their dark corners of anonymity. On face value these accusers and the Hawthorn Football Club have a lot to answer for.

Did you study legal studies from ”play school” ?

The AFL will not be a party to anything further. That's everything. Every other party is more than welcome to take anyone other than the AFL to court or the HRC.
Have all claimants done this deal with the AFL. Or is it only those who participated in the inquiry. The two dodgiest stories from Jackson's article weren't part of the inquiry.

And what if the human rights commission rules there is no case to answer ? Will that be accepted by you?

It's weird how people think this is some sort of pre-emptive 'gotcha'.

You would have to be a moron to trust the AFL to harm its own interests. It doesn't follow these same non-morons will just disregard the findings of an actual investigation.

From Robbo tonight. I have heard the same from other sources.

'The four families are almost certain to join the two other families in pursuing a hearing in the Human Rights Commission.

That will involve compulsory mediation between the families and Clarkson, Fagan and Burt, who have all denied any wrongdoing.

And if conciliation can’t be reached a hearing will be held in the Federal Court.'

Suggest you go this link to read how the Human Rights Commission manages complaints.
