Not necessarily, with Warnock and Headland out. Id say Foster would replace Headland in the 18. Leaving Gilmore, O'Brien, Duffield and McManus on the bench.

If he does play McManus will miss out.

I think with Seaby more than likely to play for the new breed of losers at the wiggles , warnock to get a good hitout in the ruck at the garlics.... And with sandi being red hot and more than likely demanding a fair amount of time on the field probably a good move , get warnock in after the break fit , firing and dedicated....

Headland ??? dodgy knee with the break next week , maybe being very cautious and giving extra time to mend....

Good idea not to take Headland over, give him the extra two weeks to get right for the Doggies at home. Warnie needs to find some form in the WAFL, not a bad move.

McPharlin, Bell didn't join the squad either.... mmm bit of a worry.
Do you reckon all of these bblokes will be out (Headland, McPharlin, Bell, Warnock)?? Or possible flying in later (?Bell / McPharlin)?

Thats giving Gilmore a rocket for that errant kick that led to the Geelong onslaught. Good one !!!:thumbsu:

I dont see why Gilmore would be out, surely he would be a better option in the midfield than McManus. Not a big deal, can see him coming in late for Doddy.

I thought the plan this season was to fly the day before the game instead of two days before? No surprise then that Belly wasn't at the airport.

That interchange bench doesn't make sense.

Mark Johnson, Shaun McManus, Andrew Foster, Byron Schammer

They are all the same type player. You would think Gilmore or Warnock would come in for one of those.

I've got NO doubt that there'll be the usual Harv's late change.

Suspect Gilmore will play

Hope McManus doesn't

Suspect 1 of Foster or O'Brien miss out

Which Wafl team has the bye this week?>

Plus Sandi has no relief!

If there's no extra tall to help out in case of injury or to pinch hit in the ruck does that mean Sandi will be playing on ball 100% of game time?

There will surely be a late change with either Gilmore or Warnock to come in, esp. if Dodd is suspect.

I'd rather see Gilmore on the bench than Schammer. They both demonstrate poor decision making skills but at least Gilmore has a physical presence.

Ma Johnson will be a good fit this week at the G. Let's hope he takes the opportunity to impress.

Schammer seems to have a hundred lives unfortunately.

Gilmore is far more important in that he can fill a number of roles should someone get injured or thrashed by an opposition forward, and is also the only player other than Warnock who is capable of relieving Sandi in the ruck for five minutes a quarter.

Michael Johnson can play 4 x 5 minutes in the ruck.

Warnock played for the Munchers today. He was pretty ordinary from what I saw.

Gilmore to be "2nd" ruck.

Have to agree there. Campbell played well, Kepler...imo, he won't get an AFL game for a while. He just stands there doing nothing  and when he does run, he isn't really that fast, which is to be expected for a fella of his size. He walks really awkwardly too.

Gee i got a very different opinion of the game, thought Keplar was BOG for West Perth (actually probably 2nd to Callum Chambers). The guy was everywhere, working very very hard up the ground and back again. His endurance is elite. Campbell was definately involved in less of the play. They look very similar with their identical haircuts, i think you got the two mixed up on a few occasions. (Maybe i did, but i'm 99% sure Keplar was the one killing it).

Matt Carr was ordinary as was Brett Peake who was playing opposed to Callum Chambers. Foster didn't play. Mark Seaby was OK without being great. And Warnock looked very very skinny and was also average. No Shaun McManus either. The Eagles Houlihan has a long kick and height, and thats about it.

Staker showed superior athleticism often winning 2 on 1s. He should get recalled.

Totally agree! shibz must've been getting the two mixed up? Campbell was ordinary for mein, didn't do anywhere near enough work. Bradley ran all day, even received a heap of kicks down back to link play etc. He's super mobile for a bloke over 200cm!
