Watson 39 possessions, 3 goals 2 behinds, 3 assists, 12 clearances, 20 contested poss, yet you have him 2nd best player?

Gotta laugh at Selwood coming in 9th.........the only argument is if he was just better or just worse than Ablett this year, as one of the best 2 players in the comp by a fair distance!
It is widely recognised by neutrals that the closest player to Ablett currently is Pendlebury.
If we use past Brownlow Medal votes (which is quite a valid way to assess midfielders actually), Selwood has outperformed Pendlebury, if only slightly.
Fair enough Skeppers. Selwood did dominate that day, but obviously wasn't recognised by all the media outlets. A score of 242 in a seven goal win would normally have got him four points, but the others scored more on this occasion.
2012.
Pendlebury - 15 votes (4 games missed). Selwood - 14 votes (2 games missed)
2011.
Pendlebury - 24 votes. Selwood - 17 votes (4 games missed)
2010.
Pendlebury - 22 votes. Selwood - 21 votes
Don't know where you are getting your stats.
Fair enough mate. I have to appreciate those who put effort into things like this, like you clearly have!!
Where do the scores some from? What does a score of 242 mean?
Another thing, I cant really fathom Pendlebury and Swan getting almost 280 points combined for the season, when if they had won every single game the maximum that 2 players at a club could score, by getting 10 and 9 each match would be 419........they just havent been that dominant in wins and losses!
Looking through Selwood, he was on 30 after 4 rounds, and only scored another 79 for the remainder of the season. Just cant see it.............
