I'll bet $100 that Collingwood make the top 4.

Raise the price if you must.

Top 4 is my safe and final bet. If you want, I'll ease it up to $50 for a top 3 berth.

Top 3.

Good. Let me confirm that if one or more of those teams finishes above Collingwood after the finals series I win. If not, you win.

Easily top 4 and probably play off for the flag again. With another year under their belt the youngest list in the league will start to dominate games.

The following clubs I can guarantee won't finish above Collingwood in 2003.
Fremantle
Geelong
St Kilda
Carlton
Melbourne
Richmond
West Coast
Western Bulldogs
Sydney
Kangaroos
Guaranteed to finish 6th at the very lowest. Probably higher. Not bad.

I much prefer our circumstances since you put it that way. So would you.Originally posted by The Spornstar
Apparently no one joined in except Elliott (who was probably only doing it to try and lift spirits, a lot different to your circumstances).

A decade (well not quite but we won't split hairs) that has been our worst ever has ended. 1988-1990 was the last time and it culminated in a premiership. I am happy with that timetable. We are ahead of where we were in 1988 by a fair margin so year two is not out of the question.Originally posted by The_Flying_Egg
Im amazed that a decade of patheticness hasn't stopped Collingwood fans from being the most arrogant bull****ters in the AFL. When was the last time u made 2 final series in a row?? Maybe u shoulodn't get to far ahead of yourself

That is the past now, when WAS the last time Collingwood made the finals in consecutive years?

Collingwood 5-7 next year me thinks.
Reasonable list, not great but ok. Played above themselves in the finals this year.
Nothin special.![]()

I'd rather have a disapponting past than a bleak future.

1994 probably
If not 1989.
Gee what news that Colligwoods recent past has been poor!

No but I would get a laugh if you did given how unlikely it is.Originally posted by The Spornstar
Well of course. But do you see me going on ad bloody nauseum about how scary we are going to be?

Your disappointing past cannot be changed.
Steve McKee on the bench to relieve Everitt has a much nicer ring to it. A premiership ring perhaps.Originally posted by Lockyer24
Steve McKee - 2003 All Australian Vice Captain has a nice ring to it.
