Any bunch of potatoe heads can finish top 4. They have such a "scary list" 3rd should be, dare I say it, a cakewalk.

That's a big call with a young list to say easily top 4. Does Melbourne (98,00), Hawthorn (01), Richmond(01), Adelaide (98) ring a bell? Injuries, poor form play a big part and these teams have had shocking seasons after promising previous years. Personally, I'm tipping Collingwood for 5-6 only because young teams suffer these 'second year blues' syndromes often but I think Collingwood will be talented enough to make the finals again.

A decade (well not quite but we won't split hairs) that has been our worst ever has ended. 1988-1990 was the last time and it culminated in a premiership. I am happy with that timetable. We are ahead of where we were in 1988 by a fair margin so year two is not out of the question.
Maybe you shouldn't take everthing Rohan says to heart though.

They beat every team in the top eight - so they played just as well in home and away against the good teams as they did in the finals. They did not play above themselves.
The proof is in the pudding. Let's see if Denis can resurrect the Blues. There is no point in this argument, we will see next year
