There's still plenty of footy to be played.

It's fair to say with what we have seen this year, we are having a good season.

Swans lost to GWS, things can turn quite quickly in footy.

To be honest, I think we are ahead of where I thought we would be. I thought our ruck division is young and still needs another 12 months, our defense has shown some raw talent and promise, overall I didn't expect too much this year to be honest. No matter what happens this year, next year will be an improvement. Our future is promising, which is more than some could say. Where I see the pies on the way up in years to come, others I don't see as so fortunate.

Over the best part of a decade Collingwood have virtually had pendlebury, swan and cloke play pretty much every game without missing. There aren't many teams who have ever had that luxury of having their core best 3 players never get injured. Collingwoods depth has never been tested and is and has always been atrocious. To the point where ben Sinclair walks straight back in once he's over his hamstring.

sorry mate but there's a reason why a season runs for 6 months as early season form is rarely a pre cursor to what will be expected come the end of the season.
