With Geelong having almost completed their latest rebuild in just 1 off season, it got me wondering why it takes some teams like 2 or more years only for them to remain as sh1ttruck teams. (I’m looking at you St Kilda, Western, Richmond and Essendon especially).

What’s a fair rebuild timeframe and why are you all falling so short of Geelong in this metric?

Did you have a Dodoro ruining your rebuild or did you think topping up with a few players would do the trick?
What’s your reason?

So a rebuild is trading Esava, Ishank Smiss retiring and delisting the great Sam Menegola? Nobody else of note for traded/delisted/retired

Ehhh about half a season. Probably would have been in amongst it last year if not for crucial injuries.

I mean, Collingwood won the flag so it really was up for grabs for anyone.

Geelong are s**t scared to rebuild, a couple of years near the bottom and the few supporters they have will disappear like the smoke from a meth pipe.

4 flags in 60 years, and 10 in 125 years is not what most people call success.

Try telling an Aints suppporter that and then watch the tears flow.

Enjoy your 37+ years in the wilderness :)

It’s 5 flags in 60 years, that’s one every 12 years, most teams would call that success.

But let’s stick to the topic of why did Richmond think topping up instead of rebuilding was a good idea when their list was actually bad.

Check out the insecure scat flogs patting each other on their backs for their April premiership, now they've lost two in a row they're crapping their pants.

They are going to regret delisting Sam Menegola. Was the absolute heart and soul. As we saw on Friday, can’t win at the GMBHGHMA kidney dish without him.
