By Monday morning, there will likely be one or two confirmed movements to GWS. By the end of the finals series, that number is a good chance to increase.
What I'm looking forward to is when the speculation surrounding each and every one of GWS' signings suddenly becomes a 'worst-kept secret' after it has been officially confirmed. Like everybody knew for certain that player X was going, even though a basic search of the threads on bigfooty in the days, weeks and months prior to the official confirmation reveal that there was nothing close to consensus. Even now there are people debating whether or not Scully is gone even though he is out with 'general soreness' this week. Once he is officially gone though, it will be a 'worst-kept secret' that everybody knew, according to our friends in the media and some know-it-alls on bigfooty.
Of course, it can go the other way. Should Scully (to use the same example) miraculously still be wearing a red and blue jumper next year, there'll be plenty of people saying 'I knew he wouldn't leave, too loyal, it was always going to be so and so player who left and not loyal Scully'.
So here is your chance now, my bigfooty brethren. Go on the record and tell us which of footy's soon-to-be 'worst-kept secrets' you are certain are true. Also tell us which rumours will not soon be forever remembered by the Hutchys and Sheahans of the world as 'worst-kept secrets'.
Over to you. If you dare.
I'll get the ball rolling. I'm pretty certain that Scully is gone. If you offered me 20-1 on him staying, I wouldn't give you a fiver.
