Monet was into all that Japanese woodblock art, his house at Giverny is full of it which surprised me a little bit when you look at his painting.

Whenever I travel I try to buy 1 or 2 things
Paintings, handicrafts or whatever tickles my fancy. Favourites would be the beer stein with a piece of the Berlin wall mounted on top and the wooden spear with a made tip I picked up in NZ

artist in my spare time. apart from my own work, marilyn monroe print, elliot erwitt print, some fashion designer's (name escapes me) wallpaper print, partner's photos while she was travelling, other sculptural stuff from painted plates to glasswork and ceramics. i pick up quite a few art books, be that from places like the NGV bookshop or throw-outs from my line of work (art gallery, catalogues/art books)

My brother is a sculptor - won the Wynne Prize about 10 years ago. Makes some amazing pieces from paper mache. We have a small statue in our ounge room and he'll be making one for my yard this year. They all have my dad's face in them as well. He hit the acid rather hard in the 90s so he's got some crazy stuff in his head.

My nephew is an award winning landscape artist - does abstract landscapes. Got one of his early pieces, and we'll get a larger one when we extend the house.

Also have a WEG poster from a Bombers premiership in the 30s or 40s. The missus made me put it in the shed.

Did a bunch of photography in my younger days, went away from it, but still fancied myself as a photog when I had the money to start travelling overseas.

Nowadays I have a bunch of prints and canvases of photos I've taken on my travels on my living area walls - if I put modesty aside, they're pretty ****ing good... then I also have my "guilty pleasure collection" of MOC wrestling figures in my bedroom that fortunately/unfortunately not that many people see!
