Leon had 471 disposals in 2009 and kicked 35 goals (23 games), good numbers, factoring in his precise kicking skills and miracle goals, Le crah was stiff though.

Nah, I'm one of those rare opposition supporters who actually doesn't mind Collingwood. I was certainly cheering my ass off for you guys against the Aints last year. But the nature of being the biggest team in the AFL is that some of your average players are going to get overrated, especially the flashy ones who look good on a highlight reel. O'Brien and Davis are (or were in Davis's case, he's improved massively this year. I'd take him before O'Brien too TBH) the best examples of that at Collingwood.

Peter Daicos played a similar role to lecrah after his injurys, if you want to see a true gun stay at home small fwd i suggest you look up his stats, i know it isn't exactly fair to compare lecrah with the great man, but Daics was a stay at home fwd pkt and IMO was the best we've ever seen (as a small to mid type), lecrah is not fit to lick his bootlaces, and the other aren't either, but the others have different strings to their bows, in full flight i'd rank lecrah behind all those mentioned.

First of all only stevie j of the above is capable of kicking 60 goals. And im not sure if youve watched lecras be played in the midfield ever? Clearly you havn't because when he has he has dominated. He is better as a midfielder than davis and didak. I'd have him on par with steviej but behind chapman as a mid.

you say this, but then the rest of the post makes it seem like you are the one who doesn't know shit. LeCras was drafted as a midfielder, played out of the forward pocket in the Cousins/Judd era (obvious reasons) and now plays both positions very well. I'd like to see Leon kick 60+ goals in a season btw

Who cares, Harry is the reigning AA HB, Hurn is not and IMO never will be, hurn wouldn't get anywhere near top 5 in our BaF.

Hurn the better player at the moment and I can't see it changing back in the long term.

Very good 1v1, excellent overhead mark, strong physical presence (added this to his game this year) and absolute weapon of a boot.

Whilst I like Harry's run, he dosn't have an offensive weapon that can compare with Hurns kicking. Those 3 beastly goals on the weekend are proof positive of Hurns capabilities.

For you to tell anyone they know jack shit about the game astounds me. LeCras at his best is a better mid and fwd than Leon Davis, it really is as simple as that. Leon has played 87 games for 209 goals, Leon has played 213 and has 264 goals and Leon has played most of his career forward.

Here is a piece of advice - Watch some other teams play the game maybe then you will realise not every player at collingwood is the best in their position.

Arguably, although I can recall Harry being right up there a few times. Harry is the better defender though, which is his job. And he is a massive factor in our premiership year, you'd be stupid to suggest otherwise. Consistently beat fantastic players. Hasn't been as good this year due to his change of role.

On Leon Davis, boy has he been a revelation down back. I can only laugh at people who doubt him still, I don't think he has lost a 1 on 1 all year, and is solid as a rock under pressure with the ball in his hands. AA worthy? Not sure yet. Squad worthy? Absolutely.

Davis has been brilliant this year. That would be a better poll TBH, Davis is closer to Hurn in both role and ability than Harry O is. If people have been paying attention to Collingwood games this year a Hurn v Davis poll would be much closer than this one, I'm not sure who I'd pick there TBH.

Then again, distributer probably thinks that Tyson Goldsack is better than Hurn, so maybe we should try that poll.
