'I'm too busy to defend my country as I have to make placards for the upcoming climate change protest...'
‘Like Ukraine’. Oh come on - if it was a legit survey maybe most thought it was a joke

And not even mentioning that while aus isn’t being invaded, there’s pretty serious issues in qld and Lismore right now

This s**t.

Maybe young people are smarter than this dude and see the immediate realistic threat is climate emergency, which no number of tanks or submarines address

A survey published by the IPA finds out that Australians are not patriotic enough. In other news, a survey of Carlton and Hawthorn supporters found that the AFL should revoke Essendon's AFL licence for any reason, and a poll of billionares suggested that cake and caviar was an adequate replacement for bread.

That article and that poll serve as support for the fellow mentioned in the article's political career, nothing more.

Essendon should have been booted after they let the side down and lost to Collingwood in 1990. The Colliwobbles were great fun.

Or "I will stay and fight for my right to allegedly rip off a charity":

Radio host Ben Fordham has accused the national broadcaster of publishing naked photos of an Afghanistan veteran in a “revenge attack” after he demanded the retraction of an article alleging his platoon committed war crimes.
On Sunday, the ABC reported that retired SAS officer Heston Russell had sold pornographic images on OnlyFans while fundraising for a veterans’ charity.

The article included pixelated naked images of Mr Russell, whom the ABC alleged had “misled” the Swiss 8 charity about the explicit nature of the fundraising, and had handed over less than a third of the money he claimed to have raised.

What a plonker:

“As a result of years of relentless attack on our values by the cultural and media elites

Mr Russell, 36, who is running for parliament under his Australian Values Party,

Never has a topic been more worthy of the title "right wing hypocrisy ".

OK maybe not "never". It's wall to wall out there.

Interesting how a self promoted ‘patriot’ seeks to divide australians rather than find common ground.

As he has found a good portion of australians do not blindly follow the rampant flag waving view

For the past few years the grifters, trolls and Russians have been telling the cookers and incels that Trump and the Nazi's were the good guys, and that the 'international financiers' are the ones to blame, because 'they' are attempting to impose Socialism on us.

Nek minute, the Russians tell them all that they're going after the Nazis, because Nazis are bad.

Own goal by the Russians there. Convince the Trumpists and Conspiracy freaks/ Wellness influencers on Social media to all to become Nazi sympathizers, then once complete, look to justify an invasion 'because Nazis are bad.'

The cookers dont know where to look at the moment.

Sam Elliott apologises for comments relating to Power of the Dog movie (comments below)

"They're running around in chaps and no shirts," he complained. "There's all these allusions of homosexuality throughout the f--king movie. I mean, Cumberbatch never got out of his f--king chaps." .

Supporters of the original comments are now denouncing Sam for apologising, probably.

I couldn't disagree more with his comments (and I loved POTD, by the way) but Wade Garrett is one of my all-time favourite characters so I cannot condemn the man
