Starting this thread as we have the lead up to the draft. We all have a bit of fun wondering where we all think this crop of players will go so here is my opinion of what this year will look like and would love to compare everyone else's own phantom draft as we all have our own opinions so lets discuss;
Pick 1 - St Kilda Christian Petracca (Outright number 1 imo, ready to go mid)
Pick 2 - Melbourne Angus Brayshaw (Next best player in the draft next to Heeney)
Pick 3 - Melbourne Paddy McCartin (Dees would be very happy to get this combo)
Pick 4 - GWS Jake Lever (Would have been potential number 1 if not for injury)
Pick 5 - Collingwood Jayden Laverde (X Factor and class, just what the Pies need)
Pick 6 - GWS Peter Wright (With Boyd and Giles gone, seems a great fit)
Pick 7 - GWS Lachie Weller (A Class player who can win the ball and use it well)
Pick 8 - Gold Coast Paul Ahern (A mid that kicks goals but his skills are all class)
Pick 9 - Collingwood Darcy Moore (Get excited Pies fans, future captain)
Pick 10 - Geelong Kyle Langford (The Bolter, Geelong like that and have a player in Langford)
Pick 11 - WCE Jarrod Pickett (Much needed pace, silky smooth mid)
Pick 12 - Richmond Sam Durdin (Can play back or forward and in the Ruck, very versatile)
Pick 13 - Fremantle Hugh Goddard (The key back/forward to replace McPharlin/Pavlich)
Pick 14 - Adelaide Caleb Marchbank (Crows need a reliable KPD, great mark, logical choice)
Pick 15 - Gold Coast Jordan De Goey (A contested ball winning, marking, goal kicking mid)
Pick 16 - North Melb Nakia Cockatoo (Big Bolter, AFL ready body with class and X Factor)
Pick 17 - Essendon Liam Duggan (Bit of a slider but could go to any side from pick 10)
Pick 18 - Sydney Isaac Heeney (Absolute steal, easily a top 3 pick this year)
Pick 19 - Carlton Brayden Maynard (Mid that plays inside and sets the play up well)
Pick 20 - Essendon Tom Lamb (A tall mid with X Factor, question is, where does he fall?)
Pick 21 - St Kilda Reece McKenzie (Big bodied KPF ready to go, quick off the mark)
