Continued from PART 1....

And you believe Bomber pete? Not the best of record the Cats when it comes to telling when a player will play or not.

OK for Jimmy & Otto but l will believe it for Joel when the team sheets are submitted 45 mins before the game.

I hope he plays because he is in my team, but as a Cats supporter l would not mind to see Joel have a rest this week.

Yeh fair call mate...

No doubt they'll rest a few in round 22 aswell when we play west coast at skilled... Reckon they might just give most of the boys one more big(ish) game before finals this Friday night.

Anyway, I am looking at having some huge outs this week: Pav, Sandi, Brown, Higgins... farrrrkin hell!

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

Am I stupid to consider pav > pods considering he's 340.000 and got wce at ss in round 22

No. I'm considering Brown to Varcoe with a similar thought process. :o

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

Never mind just realised I can go pav n brown to chappy n roo n still have 140k left over for last upgrade which could hopefully allow me to go leunberger > Macintosh or someone for round 22...

This week
jolly will play he sayd... Good for me
Sandi out.... Good for me too
pav n brown out.... Gives me reason to trade them both
lake in doubt.... Will make me rethink possible upgrade to him

gee I just wish the teams would come out already with so many rumours goin around I just wanna hurry up n finalize something

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

Pav Sandi mundy all left at home did not fly out with the team today, also hill and morabito did not fly

They mentioned Fyfe aswell on SEN when mentioning that list of players.

Ouch.

LOL! :D:thumbsu:

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

Wow this is good!!

Real freaking good.
One zero in the forward line and counting. Watt over at AAMI is just as good as a zero too. Brown has f%#*ed my team right over this year. Why did I hold onto him? Stupid, stupid stupid!

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

wow, thats sandi, pav, brown, and maybe fyfe gone so far :( might be using my last 2 trades this week

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

Sandi still out, but Warnock's still in.

Forward line is devestated - Pavlich and Higgins (emergency) definitely out, and I think Brown will be a late withdrawal, albeit probably after lockout.

Brown has done enough on the training track this week to suggest that he has overcome a minor knee complaint, but will be put through his paces again at the Lions’ final training session of the week on Saturday in Melbourne.

So who to trade out? Higgins is out for the year, but bugger all options to come in for him with only $10k in the bank. Pav might be back next week, but there won't be one if I don't win this week obviously. A dilemma.

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

Wow huge week for injuries, If brown plays ill be fine as I have cover for both Pavlich and Fyfe. Not sure whether to burn my last trade or not this week. Shud be an interesting weekend.

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

And thats why you gotta trade him. Sunday game has late withdrawal written all over it. Paul Chapman come on down!
Chapman possibly rested next weeks?

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

Chapman possibly rested next weeks?

Taken a punt there SJ. Why would they rest him next week when they could have given him this week off and reduce his MRP points hanging over his head. I'm taking that as he's playing. 1 trade left for next week, just in case. ;)

Nah we would've gone to tribunal if that were so.

So unless he pulls up lame from this week, he'll play.

I'm still saving a trade in case Ablett or Selwood get rested next week though.

What about if the game against West Coast at Skilled in Round 22 is in the slop?

What about if the game against West Coast at Skilled in Round 22 is in the slop?

If that happens it is more likely more players will be rested (i.e. 4-5 instead of a couple) but it doesn't make it any more likely Chapman will be one of them. The fact that we took the reprimand means we think he doesn't need a rest, so unless he picks up a niggle tonight, he'll play next week.

Essendon Bombers hit by virus

ESSENDON is the latest AFL team to be hit by a virus, with Sam Lonergan and Travis Colyer withdrawing from this week's squad.

The pair will sit out Sunday's match against Brisbane at Etihad Stadium with Tyson Slattery and Jarrod Atkinson taking their place in the squad.

The final team of 22 and three emergencies will be settled later this afternoon, as per the 5pm deadline.
