Freeman would've blown out to about a pick 40.

You would have zero idea what he'd be worth on the trade table and we'd have to be completely mental to give up a 1st rounder we've put all this time and rehab into for a shitty 3rd rounder just because you want to have a drama moment

So yeah, Reid is done for the year.

Not sure I've ever seen a more fragile footballer.

Davidson, Rusling, Sinclair, Walker and Freeman. At least Reid has contributed heavily towards a premiership.

It's business as usual, Reid still might play a cameo role this season, but Buckley has wisely excluded him from his plans for 2015.

Two full VFL games. He's no chance. They take him off the ground at 3qrt. It's time to even stop talking about Reid now.

You're lagging, TG, Buckley made it clear ages ago that Reid is not in his forward planning for this season.

This is such a season defining game I think we've got to pick for a win rather than trying to finesse an individual's workload.
If you're going to pick for a win you pick players that are fit enough to run out an entire game. Nothing to do with finesse.

Unless there is an as yet identified injury, Levi isn't far off running out a game. He's certainly close enough to give the green vest.

A lot to like in this week's report. Scharenberg isn't on it, Reid is short term and Greenwood could be heading to Adelaide.
Reid being anything other than available for selection is bad news, simply because any prognosis is a complete crapshoot with him.

Bad news would have been a tear, which was being suggested at one stage.

I don't believe Reid is in our planning for 2015. If he comes good this year it's an out an out bonus.

Herald Sun reported a thigh strain is the reason he didn't play last week. He won't play seniors this week.

Above average footballers who perform at an elite level in a finals' series are franked as good football players.

Actually Greenwood played one good final against Essendon, and two average ones against Geelong and Sydney.

Greenwood brings us no more than what Crisp is currently giving us. Bringing him in and shifting Crisp out (to the wing or forward) would be a mistake.

Greenwood doesn't replace Crisp, he's more like Taylor Adams and another grunt under the contest player to get it out to the likes of Crisp who can run 40 before banging it from 60 would be great
