What do they mean by 'later this year'.

I'd rather it happened next week than in 6 months time. That way, if convicted, the club can delist and go for the supplemental option.

It's not as if the event only just happened. They've had months to interview, gather evidence, take witness statements. Seems like a major investigation for what was initially reported as a pretty minor event.

you's assume that the club knows what unfolded and it must be on the lesser end of assault if he is still on the list.

I cant recall what murray newman did to land himself in jail whilst playing though.

Murray Newman broke the jaw of the then boyfriend of his ex after previously threatening him and went out that night to looking to confront him

So it wasn’t a random meeting or a spur of the moment thing and it resulted in genuine harm

From the little we do know of the Winder incident is that it was an altercation on the night and the victim was injured, at least not to the point of requiring medical attention

They’re quite different situations
