First half was great, we got done in by some Messi magic which isn't anything to be embarrassed by. We actually dominated some large passages of play.

2nd half felt a bit more friendly-esq - all the subs made the game a bit more casual. Their goal was just class, not the best marking (aka none) by us but De Paul's cross was perfect.

Bos needs to own that LB position for years to come, was super impressed. McGree also worked very well him as a LM.

Liked Atkinson's game, had a bit of grit about him compared to his quite timid WC performance.

Loved Duke/Leckie in the WC but I think its now time to move on with the Asian Cup/WC 26 in the future. I don't see Maclaren doing the job at international level either.

Also if anyone else saw Robertson (who looked decent in the game) try to get Messi's attention at the end of the game was a visual equivalent of you going for a high 5 being left hanging.

Jordan Bos looks the natural successor to Behich, hugely impressed with him and hopefully gets regular minutes in Europe next year.

Plenty to like about that performance, missing most of our better players up front so need to develop some of those for the Asian Cup. Good to see Hrustic back to something like his best as well, we need his quality to unlock defenses that will sit back in Asian Cup.
