I'm getting the opportunity to interview our great man Jack for a uni journalism assignment and am stumped for what angle to take on it!

This is mainly because he's done so many bloody interviews this past year, and because I wanted to make it a bit different so he didn't see it as just another boring interview.

I thought this was a good chance to ask you guys what questions you would ask him (partly due to my laziness) and afterwards I will upload the interview transcript and final assignment with the questions in it.

Ask him about whether he has noticed the typical Australian "tall poppy syndrome" in regards to how the media has treated him of late. I reckon if he wasn't the coleman medalist some of the criticism would be justified, but if the man wants to have a squizz at a great mark he took (one of many!), stick his finger up every now and then and show some emotion then let him :D

Will it take a move up to the wing and another 10+ years for the football community to respect him? Seriously, there aren't enough characters in the AFL nowadays and the game is much poorer for it. Leave the level of criticism he has been getting for guys like Fev who are dead set w***ers.

Ask him about early in his career when "experts" (one being Terry Wallace) had him pegged as a 3rd tall and would say he'd stuggle with anything more than that,

How did he react to those statements? Did he always think he would be a 3rd tall or has he always thought he could be a commanding FF? Or is it something that came out of no where?

Also ask him about Troy Taylor....Although I doubt he be allowed to comment on the situation...

Does he have any other brothers or cousins coming through the juniors?

Is he wiser and more skeptical now after being conned into believing power balance bracelets work?

Re concussion: does he worry about sustaining brain injuries or deteorating mental conditions due to excessive concussions?

Would he consider wearning a helmet?

Could you ask him if he is enjoying his Cabinet making course and whether he could make me a chicken coop please?

:)ON a serious note, I would like to know his thoughts on the inclusion of Miller and going forward what he thinks we can expect from Griffiths, Vickery and Post. Must be an exciting time for a Tiger forward with all that midfield depth and supply!

Reckon keep the questions away from direct Footy stuff, we all know what those answers are and it's cliche. Questions along TFLUA's lines are great, what philosophy does he have on injury in the sport, how does he approach each mark/speccie knowing he might not get back up? Psyche stuff is cool too, like maybe what he thinks the most important thing he'll do/can do in his life will be. What legacy does he want to leave? If you ask him what it's like being criticized by the media and what it's like playing with an up and coming team he'll just rattle off the club lines 'part of the job', and 'great, good group of boys, really exciting'

Could you ask him how important it is for player's to have jobs with football/after football. Also if the boys do any bonding during the week, It looks like with the young team and how well they are playing, they are starting to trust each other a lot more.

Don't ask footy related stuff eg. How is Player X going, that is pure shit and he would get those all the time plus he will give the standard answers.

Maybe ask about the pact the players made about turning this club around? Their involvement in the FTF?

Who would he turn gay for within the team?

What would he like to have engraved on his tombstone?

If he were to throw a dinner party, who would he have on the table? They can either be dead or alive.

Would he consider getting a sleeve tattoo and is it a fad within the AFL?

If he wasn't a football, what would he be?

Is he a red head or a strawberry blonde? Or is he a denialist?

Who was his toughest opponent that he has ever faced in the forward 50?

If he was to play with any footballer in the AFL history, alive or deceased, who would he like to play with in the forward line?

Have you ever used your name to abuse the system? For example, jump on the queue because you're JR8?

What type of girl does he prefer? Will he consider marrying an athlete to create a strong footballing family?

Ask to take a look at his pubes to see if they are red or strawberry blonde. If red like we all know they will be slap him in the face and yell at him for turning his back on his Fanta Pants heritage.

Sit him down and explain to him there are fat little gingers all over Australia that have been waiting for a hero like him to come along so they can finally be cool at school and stop being beaten up and bullied yet he turns his back on them at every opportunity.

Tell him the longer he leaves it the more sillier he looks and use the Ian Thorp situation as an example.

Also can you ask him what he and the boys think about tanking and how much respect do the boys have for teams like Carlton , West Coast and Melbourne.

How have the new facilities helped with training/post-game recovery?

Excluding the leadership group, who would be a good candidate for next captain?

What sort of education of diet/healthy eating does the club give?

Did you move in with anyone when coming to the club?

Is there a buddy system in the club with senior and junior players?

Are you restricted from doing certain recreational activities in case of injury?

Who has the biggest kick in the club?

If you were able to play another sport at the elite level outside of footy, what would it be?

Maybe ask him about the work he does on his set shot goal kicking. I seem to remember an article where they said he would practice his set shots with his iPod playing music or noise as a distraction. If that is the case does he listen to music he likes or something annoying like Justin Bieber?

When was the moment when you realized that you could put it straight through the middle of the big sticks? Do you feel more confident lining up for goal than you did in the 08/09 seasons?

What is your favourite type of marking situation to be in? Wrestling, jumping, on the lead?

Do you ever find yourself having a quiet chuckle when you just stand at the drop of the ball and every other player falls over?

Of players who aren't currently in the side, who do you think can come in and cement a position? Connors, Morton, new guys like Dea, Contin, etc. etc.

Who would win in a game of marker's up - you or Richo?
