I can't think of too many finals where a small forward tore the game apart.

Was sad to see him have to be moved to the backline to get a sniff last week, but good tactic from the Cats.

I'd start him back on Friday, he is obviously not a useless defender so not too risky, get him a touch or three, then move him forward.

Tbf, mooney played 11 games that year, and got 3 or less disposals in 8 of those 11 games, only kicking 2 goals in total. It wasn't exactly a big drop off.

I'm more puzzled as to how he even played in the first place with numbers like that. I was a bit young then to remember anything, did he play down back?

He only got a game because someone was suspended in the preliminary final. Jason McCartney if my memory can be relied upon.
