The main argument being made in this thread is whether or not 'stalking' is harmful to the person being stalked.

An important point to keep in mind though is that socially-speaking, it is extremely harmful to the stalker him/herself.

Im not sure i follow. If a somebody is willing to look through another persons windows at night they are already damaged enough so im not sure how it would be harmful to them. For a person to have to think twice about anything they do in the privacy of their own home is far worse.

Continual behaviour and/or progression of behaviour is also harmful, regardless of an already-present level.

For a person to have to think twice about anything they do in the privacy of their own home is far worse.

My point is that the 'stalkee' isn't the only one being harmed. We should also remember the stalker is also harming him/herself.
