well this is the 3rd game ive seen Howe this year, and can someone tell me what im missing?

Did bugger all today, doesnt do enough at ground level, doesnt look desperate to win the ball. Only had 1 contest possesion - the lowest out of every Melbourne player.

I stand by what i said in the OP. Not enough output and goes under the radar because of his high flying marks that happen 3-4 times a year.

He is a solid player, but he would not get games at all clubs as previously mentioned. Without a doubt though his ability to take a spectacular mark has increased his currency higher then what is probably deserves based on the rest of his game. However he is a good marketing tool for the Melbourne FC when they have had nothing but failure and misery over the last few years with other marketing tools such as Jack Watts and Tom Scully either leaving or just being sh!t.

There's a difference between brilliant and AFL standard, the two terms aren't interchangeable. Your OP states he isn't AFL standard when he quite clearly is. One off game does not a season or career make.
