I'm no expert in Palestine-Israel conflict, but I've read half a dozen books on the subject, read thousands of wiki entries, reports, articles, UN resolutions, watched dozens of docos, and I feel like I've only scratched the surface.
I find it interesting that people can comment and have such strong opinions about some place in the world they've never been to, studied or even cared about, other than when it becomes a big headline, only for them to ignore completely for another decade.
And by that token, it's fascinating how people can have such strong opinions about something they really know little to nothing about. You can call Hamas evil all you like, but it's really just hubris.
It's hubris because how arrogant one must be, that they can discriminate a whole group to the point of being borderline racist, even though they've barely even know who or what they are.
The more I educate myself on the subject the harder I find to condemn on what happened on October 7th. Now if you want to get angry, report me, ban me and call me a terrorist for gaining such views than fine by me. But pause and reflect for a second: when genocides occured throughout history, like the holocaust for example, how many say now, 'that they would have never gone along with it, I would've always condemn genoicde'. And here we are, almost 100 years after the holocaust and people are finding all reasons to condemn, subjcate, and happy to play along with the extermination of a group of people. You're not as good as you think you are.
