I acknowledge your above post and agree better engagement should have been happening with Isreal with the middle east. Let me make this clear as I know I'm going to be bombarded like the parliament house on Sundays. I am no supporter of Isreal, I hate what's happening over there and innocent people being killed. I believe retaliation had to happen but not this far. There had to be a better way to target/extract out Hamas militants instead of just bombing.
My point was that some on hear nead to take their rose glasses off as they think Isreal should have done absolutely nothing after 1500 murdered and 200 odd taken away because their government "deserved it" from their past actions.
If one of my family members have been taken hostage, I'd expect the Australian government to retaliate.

It's simply not true - And not because of originating from there, living there for thousands of years (long before Islam was founded), archeological proofs ,holy sites, not because of being "chosen and promised by god" etc.

From the 19th century up to 1948, the Jews were buying the land from the Ottoman and British empires. The claim that Arabs owned 90%+ of the land in 1948 is FALSE and has ZERO credible proofs. They owned approximately 20%. The rest was Crown land or Jewish land.

Also Jews that bought land in Palestine" paid a hefty price. In 1944, Jews paid between $1,000 and $1,100 per acre in Palestine, mostly for arid or semi-arid land (in the same year rich black soil in the state of Iowa USA was selling for around $110 per acre).

No Arab village was occupied/displaced by Jews before 1947 when the Arabs STARTED a war that they LOST.
