Well played. Forgot about him, but I honestly think he is the exception to the rule, as is Tippet. Sure recruiters seem to draft taller KPF's these days but not that many have come on.

The point I'm making is that the gun KPF's even today, are mainly <194cm ish. That includes both Riewoldts (192 and 193), Pavlich (192), Barry Hall (193), Fevola(191), Daniel Bradshaw (191), Jordan Roughead (193).

Even Kennedy is only just above that with 195cm, so is Johno Brown. Taylor Walker sits at 194.

When I think of 197cm+ forwards these days all I think of is Kosi.

Jack Riewoldt kept growing and is currently listed as 195cm but he thinks he's even a bit taller than that now.

Jack's taller than Nick now, there was an interview with them over the summer and Nick was saying he thought he had him covered but Jack kept growing until he was 21. That was when Jack said he thought he was even taller than the 195 listed too.

Have a photo with Lloyd and at 188cm Lloyd is noticebly taller than me. Goodes has played as a ruckman and although he might have a good leap is every bit of 194cm if not taller. You could see he was noticebly taller than Darling during the Swans game.

I don't know why we're still talking about his height.. apart from the list of players which kicked over 100 goals which are shorter then him or whatever.. You can compare him to current AFL players too.

Look at Goddard. Legend player and an awesome grab, he takes pack marks and speccy's and all sorts... I also remember him playing full forward for saints one year against us and kicked 4 goals in the opening quarter. 2009 i think.

Can play any position INCLUDING full forward. Yet goddard is only 189cm peeps.

2cm less then darls, yet he's still awesome is he not?

Goodes is around the Glass/Scarlett region. Nick is taller than Jack. Hope that clears things up.

I like how Collingwood was excused from making a stuff up cos their first pick was pick 45. But in reality they did stuff up because they traded pick 25 to the Gold Coast for Andrew Krauker.

I'd find it extraordinary if Jack really has grown nearly two inches between the ages of 18-21, that's quite rare. However I may be wrong, I just find it hard to believe.

Watching Jack though, in my own opinion he's the best KPF going around right now, he doesn't play that tall and he doesn't utilize his height that much, he normally uses his strength to outmuscle his opponents out of the contest and then marking. In other words, the extra 3cm's he may or may not have doesn't seem to be that relevant.

Aside from that only Tippett, Franklin and Brown seem to be the quality 195+'s. Again, the exception rather than the rule.

Was interesting to note that West Coat had him go lose a few kilos. He still looks fairly solid though so he must have been carrying a bit of excess. Having a fantastic season and keep it up Jack!
