I'm struggling to think of any decent KPF's that are bigger than 194cm??

Johno Brown? That's it? Tippett and Kennedy are coming along alright. But the real good ones are all <194cm.

lance franklin goes alright...

although he's pretty damn agile for a 198cm guy.

Pretty cool interview, you can tell he's shitting himself and a lot of his answers are so, uh, rough around the edges, but twice he forgot to feel uncomfortable and showed some decent larrikin wit.

I can imagine in a few years when he feels completely at home in the AFL, he'll give a very funny interview ala J. Brown.

Do you remember Jako's first interviews?:p:D Many may say nothing much has changed.

On topic, well done Jack. :thumbsu:

I just can't stop smiling watching that highlights video, the kid will be a superstar.

For me he's more of a J.Brown cross with Pavlich, much quicker and more agile than Brown across the turf but more bussle and brawn in a pack than Pavlich.

Unfortunately (for me as I am his sponsor) he has probably done Wilson out of a job as rotating Darling, LeCras and Kennedy through FF/HF looks to be the winning fwd line for us going fwd. Add to that Nico, Ebert, Hams and Strijk kicking goals from the flanks and all of a sudden we could have one of the best fwd lines going around

Those players are completely irrelevant - otherwise I'd mount a strong argument Matt Rosa could be a ruckman because he's taller than the all time best.

Using contempories like Pavlich and Fevola would be a far better argument.
Agree 100% with this point. KPP's are taller these days, but Pav shows the way for Darling

Good work Jack!!!!!!.

Hopefully we can get Gaff, Swift, Stevens and Broome/Weedon in the nominations as well. :)

Who's the most exciting player on our list?

Darling Shuey or Naitanui?

NicNat. Imagine if he gets it all together - the leap, tapwork and long punches, screamer marks, hip-displacing tackles, 20m handballs, 60m goals, spinning and bursting through packs. He's done all those things at one point or another, if he can get it done consistently he'd be the star of the comp.

have to agree.

until broome gets a game...

Yeah, as paran said, definitely NicNat, we've all seen glimpses on what he can do on the ground though I have doubts whether he'll ever develop into a natural reader of general play, but one can hope. He's looking down on confidence at the moment and tentative at contests, hopefully it's due to a minor niggle from his shoulder and he recaptures his aggressiveness.

Kudos to Darling, what a star this kid could be. Hopefully he stays on track and gets his mental side of the game right. :thumbsu:

id definately go with darling. nicnat is injured and hasnt been playing as well. darling is a stand out player and is sure to win rising star over shuey. future brownlow medalist definately. well done jack!

Yes, i find the headline puns to be more and more lame. Think we've heard them all?

So far i reckon it's between darling and heppell for the lead in the rising star, and interestingly enough they are playing one another this week. I hope Jack bustles his way through him or runs him down once or twice, even if we lose

He's kicked a goal a game has he not?

Seems like a bit of a cheeky bugger, arrogant perhaps but thats fine with me. Our team needs more tough guys.

Cousins like no less. Very much a boy in a mans body, will only get better as he matures mentally more than anything, but we need to manage and look after him in the mean while.

God how many more puns can these idiot journalist's stuff into a headline.
Along the lines of:
Jack jumps over the candle stick.
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
Jack of hearts.
Jack coming up spades.
Jackhammer.
CrackerJack.
Jack in the box.
Jack of all trades.
You don't know Jack.
Jack and the beanstalk.
Jack's-on-5 (goals)

There you go journos, feeeeeeeed!
