He seems to have improved a bit since being delisted but if he wasn't academy I don't think he'd likely have been rookie drafted in the first place

You have no draft picks or decent young talent that would come close to satisfying the Dogs in a trade.

probably our 3x second round picks is enough + something else like narkle or Jordan Clark if he wants out. Will depend if Jamara wants to go to the cats or not. Highly likely if his on the move he comes back to us and a country lifestyle

Carlton also have had no luck with our academies.

It's really frustrating as you say, which means we have to work harder to nail our draft picks (which is not somthing The Blues have been particularly good at either )

Yeah I get why they established them but the outcomes are so uneven. In any case, it's a minor frustration for us.

Not sure why bulldogs fans seem to get so worked up over the idea of a draftee leaving?? If he does want to leave after his two year contract it’s very realistic he would want to return to rural regional lifestyle with a club like geelong, or if his all about $$ go play for essendon or Carlton.
