My understanding is that he was also one of the most under the thumb footballers in AFL history and his wife wanted to go back to Victoria, so the stars lined up for him and he sacrificed a better football career for a better life. Hard to blame him really. Worked out well for us.

I think one of those decent games was the Ben Brown 10 game. He did his best to get Hinkley sacked.
