What is the poll for? Current form? Career? Influence to team? Leadership?

Each one would win in different areas.. Petrie has done more for football as a whole then the others, though.

Very valid point, this year Kennedy is ahead and not by much, but Petrie was better last year(Kennedy was injured for abit) and the year before... in fact i am yet to see a season where Kennedy was the better player...going forward yeah he might become better... and dont give me same age comparisons or goals, since Petrie held the CHB spot very well for a while and also provided a very good rucking option when we needed him...

There was very little separating them in 2011. Kennedy was injured for the majority of 2012 and has been better so far this year. He averages more marks, more goals, more tackles and more goal assists.

Also, he is five years younger, so has plenty of time in which he can string together equal to or better seasons than this, injury permitting. Very likely that he will end up having the much better career of the two.

Kennedy quite easily. By far the best of the lot this year, and is much younger than both of them. Was better than Petrie in 2011 too but was then smashed by injury last year.

Did you even read my post? or just hit the reply button?

Read it and decided I would ignore certain parts.

JK is the better player at the moment and will be in the future, the historical gap isn't very great either, to the point one might consider it non existent.
Drew Petrie has been the better player through out their careers... but since you are so one eyed welcome to the ignore list...

That is possibly the softest response I have ever had on this site. Were you one of the posters calling for a mod election on the NM board, because they weren't banning WC supporters with the Scott avatar.

If you can't handle disagreement, you might as well just deactivate your account.

You dont agree with the north poster so your a troll in there eyes. Its best to ignore them

You claimed he is ahead of Cloke and also depends which Riewoldt, Nick is miles ahead this year... AA captain material. Jack yeah probably give the edge to Kennedy this year so far.

I didn't claim he is ahead of Cloke.
Also the thread is clearly about Jack Riewoldt, he has not outperformed Nick this year.

Probably an unfair comparison.

Despite Port improving dramatically this year, I would say Kennedy and Petrie get considerably better delivery. Petrie is very strong in the contest and can push into the ruck, Kennedy is so precise in front of goal and Schulz is a bit of both. I probably admire Jay the most, but would probably want Kennedy as he is the best converter

Over their whole careers, Kennedy converts at 63.9%, Petrie at 61.3%, and Schulz at 65.7%.

Kennedy has been amazingly accurate this year. 24.7 and sinking them from everywhere. Shulz is a very consistent set shot too, probably has the best run up in the league, quite the opposite from JK but still gets the same result.
