I warned you mods about the foodies. Get rid of em. They will infiltrate every thread. It's a modern disease. Dogs eye with dead horse.

I just hope that the Dogs eye is a light flaky pastry filled with a rich ragu of succulent beef, slow cooked in vine ripened tomatoes infused with seasonal herbs.

I know. Everyone is different. I feel Greenwood is the type of person to do everything to get back asap. Heck, has been in the gym the last few months you wouldn't know he had surgery lol

I think guys can even do leg weights with a torn ACL, it's just the lateral movement that's hard to get back.

If he rushes to get back he'll likely do another injury

I think many here are pretty bullish on Keane playing AFL at some point next year, potentially even early. But how? As a Cat B he would need to be temporarily promoted to the senior list, and I don't think Greenwood's prognosis is going to be bad enough to place him on the LTI list.

As bleak as it sounds there’ll be a LTI or two along the way. I unfortunately don’t remember a season where we haven’t suffered multiple. IMO, the bigger hurdle is Keane getting the nod ahead of Madgen and Wilson.

I’m hoping Mad Dog Keane will demand selection. His form will force the issue. He will find a way.

It’s also still November so lots of time to pump up his tyres between now and round 1.:p

It's indestructible.

It's basically salt & yeast. What's the worst that happens, it's starts to ferment?

Just means you're getting your buzz on early in the morning.

Food & piss at the same time.

Basically like a having an early morning stout.

Breakfast of champions!

Even the indestructible will go moldy in the tropics.

Thank god for our crappy training surface and incompetent fitness staff. With Mad Dog Keane, Maniacal Madge and Wilson the Great ready to explode off the Cat B list, we're going to need a few LTI

And better nicknames?

Maniacal Madge in particular conjures up images of a SA bakery, an old lady with red sauce bottle in hand, aggressively stabbing a pie, before even asking if you'd like sauce.

Apologies if any Madges were offended by this post.

No offence taken.

But I think Wilson the Great is a bit understated.

It works for me, because I view him as a conquerer on a similar level to Alexander.
As long as he doesn't do what old mate Alex used to do to Bucephalus.

RSPCA would be all over him.

Good point. I'd also hate him to take ownership of those he conquers. It would be sickening if Carlton became a part of us. Let's name him after a viking raider.

Says the person that offered nothing.
Since I don't live in Melbourne, there is little I can offer on the training thread. All I could do would be to request information from people who already go to extraordinary lengths to inform me and the others like me. There are plenty of threads for smart alleck comments without clogging the two that actually tell us something with more.

Keane will play AFL next year irrespective of injuries.......bookmark it.
Can you please explain how a cat b rookie can play AFL without someone being on the LTI list?

I lived in Vietnam for a few years. My jars loved the tropics. Nothing beats sitting outside on a tropical evening with a jar of vegemite by your side.

Well that answers that, it doesn't get saltier, it gets yeastier.

Let's just be clear, we're only vouching for vegemite, not some dodgy soviet block knock off called Jess.

Soviet Block? I don't know what kind of Cyrillic you reckon you're reading but that's a custom vegemite jar and that's the English alphabet. You flat earthers never listen to the facts even when it's glorious mould is staring you in the face.
