This is one bloke that sides will throw a lot at.

He's a 21 year old Lloyd, with better defensive pressure. Love him or hate him, nobody can deny Lloyd was a gun.

I don't see how. Bruest is a small forward. Their forward line will still be good with Patton/Boyd/Mumford/Giles/D Smith and rotating midfielders. Their defence is shocking outside of Davis and Shaw. Carlisle is literally the perfect player for GWS

Ohhh man give me a break, are you that blinded with Red and Black in your eyes that you honestly see Carlisle worth more than Luke Breust? For one he is 184cm so hardly a small forward, he has kicked 15 goals from set shots! He is 2nd in coleman, 1st in goal assists and averages 18 touches a game, he would be a perfect fit at GWS and at 23 years of age has a decade left in the game.

Not sure we have the players to bridge the gap. Our untouchables would be: Roughead, Libba, Macrae, Stringer, Griffen, Dahl. Then we have a host of kids that haven't played enough to be assessed - Hunter, Roberts, Bontempelli etc.

Murphy, Morris, Minson, Cooney are probably too old. Higgins is too injury prone, although has been good this year.

We're looking at players that are fringe players - Talia (good potential young CHB), Hrovat, Wallis (this will upset some supporters). GWS would be trading on the potential of future performance, not established performance and I don't think GWS are looking for a 'Higgins + first round + fringe player' type trade...
