He is however the principal culprit & main exponent of it.....He has also gained the most by it from free kicks over the past decade.... So much so in fact, that he has set new records for most frees for, by any player in the competitions history....That would be all well & good if it's because he was a fair player.....But it aint.

I agree it's a dishonest, manipulative way to get free kicks. No arguments there.

Well thats not accurate. You can cheat at cards by looking at your opponents hand. Its not against the rules but by doing so you have dishonestly/unfairly gained an advantage.

The kid also has his arms oiled up as a deliberate ploy & premeditated act, with just such a move in mind, so as to cause the opposition players tackle to slide above his shoulder, as he simultaneously drops his knees, while raising his arm, to cause his opponents arm to slide upwards.....What he is in fact doing, is causing the high contact himself by attempting to break the tackle by devious means…..That's prior opportunity in my books & should be called holding the ball every time....The amount of times he pulls this manoeuvre/stunt at crucial stages & critical junctures in matches, has become highly predictable & yet, the umpires still to this day continue to get sucked in by such blatant manipulation.

Now you are getting it. Manipulating the rules to his advantage not breaking the rules. But they put a rule in place that if you "duck" you lose your prior but yet he still recieves high frees on a regular basis. Go figure, I thought he ducked. Umpires pay the free kicks not Selwood. As for the oiled up part, about 10 players per team do this, ridiculous comment. Player's use "grippo". But that's all good yeah?
