Wouldnt be surprised if the young man made his way back to us in a few years. Speaking to him a few times last year, his love for the footy club and his team mates was incredible. We all saw his reaction/expressions after the game tonight when all the boys went to him, he misses them big time.

Although he was quite pi$$ed off at the club the way they let him out to dry, he understood the circumstances as to why they did it. Speaking to a few mates over in W.A who are massive eagles ppl they get the feeling that he is missing CFC and they too wouldnt be surprised if he came back to us.


Interesting times ahead.

Worstfold looked like he was on Prozac! Man the whole Weagles club looked drug damaged..they fly so high to crash so hard...Oliver Stone would make a great movie out of the Weales saga!! lol!

I was not critizising your post mate, all I was suggesting is that you sometimes you have to make some massive massive decisions. In a perfect world Josh will come back, but in reality West Coast would not let something that they have been crying out for (a key forward) go cheaply..

Kennedy's contracted untill the end of 2010.

Eagles also tried to structure their game plan around Juddy to and look what happened to them.

nah it will have to be assessed at the end of 2010 if this was to be the case. At the moment he is showing massive improvements, especially becasuse he is playing in his right position not in the Ruck. PAGAN WAS KILLING THE KID AND THATS WHY WE NEVER GOT THE BEST OUT IF HIM.

Notice tonight how Worsfold used Lynch instead of Kennedy in the ruck when Cox was off.... hmmmm wonder why Pagan's not coaching anymore

He won't be back. Obviously he still misses the place, but that will fade over time. With JK, the Weagles have finally got a quality KP forward, after having to endure hacks like Lynchy and Hansen for so long. They won't give him up easily.

Don't hold your breath Shmurf. He'll be a very very good player at West Coast, and they won't let him get away that easily. Would love to have him back, but at the same time, just cannot see it happening.

Josh is in great shape. Leads well. Takes marks. His contribution in the 3rd quarter had me scared for a little bit.

He is going to be a gun pity we had to let him go against his wishes. But I think like all Blues supporters I would love him to come back to us one day. For me loyalty is everything and he proved to us that he is a loyal person and I admire that. I was so happy that he played well and seems to be doing so well up there.

agree theres a slim chance we would be able to get kennedy back, especially considering the next couple of years we will be sitting around the 8 and wont have any of the high draft picks.

I think the gold coast team is a ridiculous idea btw, why would you introduce 1 or 2 new teams when there are melb clubs struggling and not getting the memberships numbers? teams such as melb, bullies, and roos should of jumped at the chance to either relocate, or play more games on the goldcoast. now there will be increasing pressure on these clubs to perform well to stay afloat. way to think it thru Andrew D!

I feel like some sad ex-girlfriend for saying I want him back, but I never wanted him to leave in the first place. Mind you, Bower - the other candidate for the trade - has proved he's no slouch either. I wouldn't give up Special K either.

The club should investigate Josh's availability each year (and I'm sure they will). I doubt we'll ever again hold the aces we'd need to pull that trade off, but you never know unless you ask, do you?
