I hate KZ2 multiplayer, every match except one I have been disconnected from!!!

Makes me want to get back into Resistance 2 multiplayer, damn that was fun. Too bad single player was a let down.

Yeh i get this shit, says its a network error but im still connected to the psn. Hopefully GG patch this up.

Just did a google search and yes, with a Closed NAT you will get the same issues on PS3 as Xbox.

You need your PS3 connection to be Type 2 or 1. If you have Type 3 (that's equivalent to a closed NAT on 360) you will get issues connecting with others on PSN.

I tested my connection, i get type 2. SO far im putting all my problems down to my internetbeing shit from using up downloads.

Kerrbs, I rate the Resistance 2 campaign better than the KZ2 campaign, but they are both pretty poor IMO.

Online however, Killzone 2 kicks the crap out of Resistance 2. Competitive in R2 was bs, but the co-op was awesome fun and i'd still be playing it if KZ2 didn't come out. I have a level 28 soldier. So close to getting level 30.

I reckon a clan match on Sunday night sounds like a good idea. We can probably do an all nighter (except for West Australians).

If you're putting in the DMZ make sure you set it up as a static IP. Otherwise next time you turn your PC on it may grab the IP that's in the DMZ and that's bad.

Just finished the campaign, ending was lame. Bout to get stuck into mp. Hopefully that's an improvement. Still struggle aiming. It feels clunky and I've tried everything but nothing has improved it really

that was a good little list

one thing i will say is if they fix the controls to something more like cod4...i will be sorry for the others facing me and i will change my gun back to the smg...
still i've gotton used to the controls to a point where i don't even notice it that much.

i'm already starting to get rounds in the vicinity of 50 kills and 20 deaths....
with better cod4'esque handling i only expect that to improve. **insert crazy evil guy laughing here MWUUUHAHAHA**

Heh...but you raise a fair point in regard to both games. How the **** do obvious issues like this make it past the testing phase without being fixed?

It's criminal. Absolutely no excuse for it, given there's plenty of games that have been released for both consoles with none of these issues.

ok now as stupid as this sounds kerrbs....

stay near the dumbass pretty much at all times.....they sort of hint at you needing to do that at the start when radec says "don't let them stick together!" i'm guessing that's why he dies while by himself so much as well...they're pretty much hinting at you to stick with him....

the first wave of guys is very straight forward so just kill them as normal

in the second wave stay up top like where they say for you to go and towards the back to start off with...make sure u're sticking near rico and then pick up the grenade launcher and shoot a couple into congested areas of people down the bottom. that should wipe them out quick....
either side at the back you have one replish then go back the the rifle or whatever you use.

remember to try and stay with him and then when the missile guys come.... push forward and take them out while taking cover in the closest corner to them so they can't explode you....rico might follow you here i think...but still he doesn't do much.

then when you are against radec himself just be ultra alert and always move....maybe use that centre pillar to your advantage??
but yeh if he gets close enough to you you're dead in a hit

you should be fine if you at least partially follow that.

Okay will do. Tried it again before I read this and no surprise, he died four times in the two times I played so you have to go and save him AGAIN.

Here's my question to GG though:
"How about a partner that actually does something other than die?"
