Probably a huge post on this somewhere on your forum, but couldn't find anything on the first page.

Anyway, I wanted to thank both Kirk and Roo for some great memories, two men I really admire - shame they had the finish their careers like that.

Congratulations to both of them on splendid careers, best of luck to them in whatever they choose to do in the future (hopefully it's around the footy scene) - and well done Swans on a great season, got a very good up and coming team!

Paul Roos, you are a true champion and you will be sorely missed by the the football (AFL) world. You are the epitome of a genuine SPORTSMAN, tough, uncomprimsing, unassuming, highly intelligent and as fair as the day is long. Your ability to see everything in perspective can at times be breathtaking. The sight of you on the boundary, with minutes to go in a game that is going down to the wire, and you're chatting or joking with runners, trainers or even fans is a sight to behold, even when things are not going the way of your boys. By the same token I have seen you give players a bake that had to be seen to be believed and your post match comments consistently give credit where it's due while not glossing over things that need to be said. A great player and a sensational coach. If either of my sons had been footballers (sniff) I would have been happy for them to play at Sydney under your tutelage (which is really saying something because I am one of the most fanatical Pies supporters that you would ever meet).
Paul Roos I salute you, my admiration is unequivical, may your future hold everything that you wish it to. The AFL is poorer for your departure.
