Sharma has been in shoddy form, though. Rahane should be a mile ahead of him IMO.

Great to see Pujara take his chance. For all the talk about the flashier options he was always going to be the next cab off the rank to take one of the open spots.

I think Franklin is one of the better NZ bats nowadays. Sad reflection on their cricketers, but he deserves a place.

Its crazy how the likes of Frnaklin and Vettori are some of the best bats in New Zealand!!!

They should send their up and comer batsmen over to Australia to learn their craft, ala Ian Bell for England.
