Kodi AFL addon

Tried watching the game via Kodi last night but the live matches wouldn't load, neither would afl tv.
All other videos still worked.
Was anyone able to get it working?

Did you use the game tile or channel tile?
Since it was a channel 7 game, the live fox channel was blacked out, and you could only watch the match from the game tile.

Kodi is a program that lets you use kayo.
I have an old android tv box that is not supported by kayo, so I cannot install the kayo app onto it (not even side loading). so with kodi, i can install the kayo addon and get kayo to work.

Never used kayo...only the afl video add-on.
I haven't had a problem with it in previous years, but last night the live stuff wouldn't work.

Have used the Kayo add-on for KODI with absolutely 0 issues, on a shitty ADSL2 connection, since it was released on Xbox One. Last night & tonight included.

It's saved my life.

yeah my kodi stopped working too, worked all JLT series (was a bit dodgy) but it wasnt too bad. Went to start up the end of the last quarter of dees/power and it wouldnt load livestreams but the replays and all other non live videos worked, did you find a solution yet?

Yep +1 on this. Never had in issue, watched all of pre-season and suddenly it's stopped working for the real stuff. Can still watch replays and everything.
Seems like the apps been updated so maybe they're trying to fix it? Can't figure out if there's anyone to contact though.

What is the difference between Kayo and Kodi?

Kodi is a media centre application that allows plugins, and unfortunately is commonly associated with illegal streams which is not its primary purpose at all.

Kayo is Foxtel’s streaming sports service.

There are plenty of shitty and unreliable kodi add ons out there. NEITHER of the Kayo or AFL Live Video add ons discussed in this topic are and I find them far easier to use and find what I want in the highest possible quality than Kayo's official phone or Android TV app and the official AFL/Telstra app for phone. They are a great way to watch the footy now on something as cheap as a $40 android box/raspberry pi or an old PC.

The unofficial Kayo addon for Kodi is shit hot. I had several issues with both CC Ultra and CC Gen 2 with quality drops and buffering but since switching over to Kodi on an Xbox One X and RPi3 I haven't had a single stutter or frame dropped. The interface while decidedly simpler is far more user friendly too

Hmm okay.. i tried everything, kodi afl app addon was working last season and now any live matches dont work - replay does though. I even reinstalled kodi and addon and still doesnt work..
