Your correct it was the Sunday game and it’s the coaches responsibility and then a week later he took off and the club was fined.
Lol so the Secretary or President wouldn't have noticed and thought/said these aren't our players we can't have them play? A name change to Rabbleworth could be fitting by the sounds.

Hey Roo Town, I’m thinking of doing the community thing today and giving Dookie a chop out on the gate, I’ve got a bit of experience at it, you should know that, anyway don’t forget to introduce yourself on the way in today 👍
That would be a dangerous move by Dookie Cambodia. It's like you are waiting to meet your long lost brother. We've met and socialised plenty of times :)

Surely a President or secretary or someone steps in and so that there’s no way this is happening.

Coach shouldn’t have tried it and the club shouldn’t have allowed it

And if they did they probably would have needed to forfiet... which the club did once last year and were lambasted for (particularly on here, and so has a GVFL club in recent weeks).
Im pretty sure Rushy are not the first club to do it, and in this current environment, probably won't be the last. Which doesn't make it right but those guys obviously wanted to help out while they could.
As I heard from a committee member 'country footy is f#$%ed and the AFL don't give a s**t'

I get it..I honestly do..it’s *in hard for clubs especially more so for those battling but in my honest opinion you can’t accept that as a club.

Country footy needs to change dramatically and it needs to happen now. There are too many clubs and not enough players. Even more now after COVID

Probably time to move on from the bashing of the ex Coach, don’t know him, had never heard of him, he put his hand up and had a crack, was always going to be up against it. 100% the club would have had the option to stop any unregistered players from taking the field, they didn’t.
Rushy were never going to be able to turn things around in a year whoever the Coach was with their lack of application and work ethic of the core group of players at their disposal, and thats not a dig at the club or the individual players, everyone has different aspirations as to what they want out of their sporting lives, but there are very few that would drive high standards on the training track for them unfortunately.
Up until the last 24 months, Rushy over the years have been able to draw on retired players to get them through when needed, I suppose you can only go to the well so many times, fingers crossed there is a change in attitude or personnel for them to move forward in the future

Until you're in this position, you really don't know what you'd do....

Come on Roo Town let me know your thoughts?
Big Scobs couple shots on goals ?
Minos 50 meter penalty or maybe Brocks 50 meter penalty? Come on don’t leave me in the dark,
Mick I was a bit disappointed in the Gig performance on Saturday and they have left the door open just a little to lose that 8th spot.
I think the easy draw will just get them over the line and finish 8th with 7 wins 9 losses.
Gig have 4 easy games playing Longwood, Rushy, Tally & Undera in the last 6.
I have lanky and VT games as losses for them if the form continues from Saturday.

The others fighting for 8th spot have tough runs.
Dookie play East Avenel Lanky twice and 2 bottom sides. Finish 6/10 for me will need a upset or 2 to make it.

Nagambie play East x2 Avenel 2 bottom sides and the Merrigum game could be a 50/50 game but I would tip the gum so they finish 5/11

Merrigum have 1 bottom side which should see them make it plus Nagambie as a 50/50 but should win.
8/8 for the gum.

Yes Browny very disappointed after last week’s game, yes we had our best back man down early but compared to last week the ball walked out of our forward line, anyway it’s luck of the draw from now on in, Great set up at Dookie, was very surprised lights we’re getting turned off at 5:45 on a home game win, half a dozen of us went down the pub, once again only Gig people, maybe they had something on else we’re

While on the game Kat a big chance for Murch-tol to show they can match it with the best sides I’ll be taking a drive down the highway to have a look at this one will try to catch up for a chat mate

Ultra I notice Violet Town have named Fletcher Paul for tomorrow's game vs. Girgarre. He looked to be going nicely in the Euroa ones did you hear what led to the late move?
