My point exactly. From then on the Crows were the best team. That's what I'm saying. AFTER the first 4 rounds. Not including the first four rounds.

The Crows win loss record was tarnished because of the bad start but in reality the form leading into the finals indicated they were one of the best. The rest is history.

Brisbane have not finished on top once in the last three years. Does that mean they didn't deserve any flags, and more to the point, does that mean the pathetic choker from Port Adelaide did?

You need to win in finals to deserve a flag. That's what sides like Port don't understand.

The Crows weren't a brilliant side. But they won and deserved two flags.

I live in Perth and i follow the eagles, and my second team is the dockers, and im pretty passionate about the dockers too.

i dunno wat the **** is wrong with you guys, im not sure if its a jealousy thing or what, Maybe because the eagles have won two flags, or maybe because the dockers are flying at the moment and the eagles are doin crap.

But why dont you guys shut the **** up,

Unfortunately, it will take more than me to fix the problem at Port Power. The culture of choking has infested the place, from the coach on down to the playing group.

I have to admit, when I hate a team, its mainly aimed a direct group of 5-6 players.

I don't begrudge Saints fans their success, they are the element that, although I hate a few players, I do have the utmost respect for the plight of thier supporters.

It depends how I think about it. There are some teams I respect and some I don't. Same goes for supporters. So do I want a club to win for their supporters or the players? Like in 97 I didn't mind that the crows team won because they were too good on the day, but I was so p*ssed off because of their supporters.

Why should we feel sorry for them? Every single problem the Dockers have ever had has been created by them, their coach and their recruiting. If it wasn't for the Eagles they would be bankrupt.

It was the company Indian Pacific who owned the licence who were broke and sent the Eagles that way.. with Fremantle its the club who were mismanaged.

Fremantle has made mistakes in the past, no one denies it. The club has learned from the mistakes and is moving forward. Not all companies hit the bigtime straight away. Thats all a football club is, a company.

But when the Eagles came into the competition they had shareholders etc. Thats the difference... the Fremantle Dockers were never a company....... they were a mismanaged football club. The AFL now will not allow licences to be bought this way.

Company was the wrong word to use. The FFC have taken aboard all the advice given to them and Hart & Schwab have got the club back onto the right track. The club started on the back foot, breaking into a small market like WA when the eagles were on top of the competition. The biggest mistake Fremantle ever made was Hatt. No one will ever deny that.
