That is garbage - I dont know where you got that from, his disposal was much better than that.

I know you obviously got that stat from somewhere Sampler... but the stat is clearly wrong.
Herald-Sun/Champion Data.

I wouldn't be surprised to see my boy get a run this week and my reasoning is this... he would likely play on Ben McKinley whom he played with for 2 years at the Northern Knights at TAC level and would know his game pretty well. I reckon it would be a good match up, too.

I think most of the senior players are usually under consideration, it just depends on who gets the nod for final selection.

Is there something you know that we don't know JAJH???????? It would be a hell of a compliment to make your way into a a side that has just beaten the reigning premiers by 86 points. If not this week, hopefully he will get a go in the not too distant future.

I'd like to see some rotation of players that can also be linked with a horses for courses policy! Gives some blokes the chance to get over niggling injuries and develops a bigger group of players ready to step in. Apart from JA whom I'd love to see back out there, Byan Wood and Frazer can be roted to good effect. Leon could be rested Reed brought in for Paul Medhurst who would take Leon's role. Not easy to do but I rekon we would benefit.

Pretty rare for the Pies to not make any changes from one week to the next, so you'd reckon someone might make way for the likes of Wood, Anthony or Cox.

so even after evidence to suggest that this change up is rubbish and that cox himself sees himself in competion for shawX2 spot you still post it.

Go figure

The way these two are going at the moment it wasn't smart of him to admit that.

After the game on Friday I thought that Maxwell was about our only weak link.

Although watching the replay on the weekend that assessment may have been a bit harsh. Did his job in keeping Gamble (who has been handy this year) quiet and spoiled and harrassed ok.

No change unless someone doesn't come up from injury.

I still think he is and was the weak link. Neither of them got it much and it was a break even or slight win to maxwell at best but against a first year player when we have thumped em, it certainly doesn't scream good game.

Johnson and Maxwell have both been varrying from poor to very poor with the occasional O.K game for majority of the last two years.

Maxwell is a 1% man, he is a player you want in the trenches. His finals series last year was great.
Every team needs a player like him, who would run through a brick wall if the coach said to.
I feel he is one of the first picked each week.

1% are not an ability, they are an attitude and willingness thing as such no one should get a game simply because of their willingness to do the 1%. It's not like the other players can't get in there, zone of smother chase etc. Maxwell on the other hand has poor skills. Is only average one one defensively and average as an athlete.

If Maxwell goes everyone else has to lift and if they are not willing to they will be found and and judged as a player accordingly. His 1%ers are brilliant unfortunatly the other 99% is below average at best.

If Collingwood every go to war, I'll accept his inclusion.

Till then, enter john Anthony.

To a point. Don't know if JA is ready as yet but agree with that train of thought
